Citizens Oversight Committee
HISTORY
The purpose of the OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE is to oversee and review all expenditures
associated with Lakeport Unified School District Bond Measure W. The following is
a list of the community members appointed to the LUSD School Board. California State
Law requires the OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE to cross section representation of the community.

MEETINGS
A total of three meetings were held during Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The first meeting
was held on May 2, 2002 and the following members were appointed to two year terms
by the Committee as officers:
Carl Webb - President
Suzanne Ruffcorn - Clerk
Carole McGeoch - Secretary
During the meeting of May 29, 3003, Carole McGeoch was appointed as liaison between
the Committee and the LUSD Board of Trustees.
During the meeting of June 26, 2002, BP 7124 and AR 7124 were adopted as presented.
BROWN ACT COMPLIANCE
The Committee members received a copy of the BROWN ACT at the May 29th
meeting. All meetings are held in compliance with the Brown Act.
PUBLIC RECORDS
Copies of all minutes and agendas are available as the LUSD office at 100 Lange
Street, Lakeport, California 95453 and will be available on the LUSD district website.
Agendas are posted 72 hours in advance of the meetings. Notification of dates, times,
and place of meetings are published in the Record Bee.
BOND USE
Cindy Foley, LUSD Business Manager, presented a Bond Measure Revenue and Expense
Accounting Report on June 26th, 2002. The report is attached.
